Usage and Care

Q: Is there a risk of the putty drying out or losing resistance?

A: No, Peak Putty will never dry out or lose its resistance.

Q: is Peak Putty greasy?

A: Peak Putty may feel slightly greasy at first—that’s due to a necessary additive used to prevent stickiness during manufacturing. This goes away after a few uses / sessions as the surface breaks in, leaving you with a smooth, easy-to-grip texture

While Peak Putty won’t ever dry out. It is important that you store it correctly, in the packaging it came in. Peak Putty is self leveling and will run out like a puddle if left on a table. Because of this Peak Putty will quickly absorb into porous materials, like cloth, carpet, or clothing. We hope you won’t need this information but the best way to clean it IF you should need it, is as follows :

Hair – a generous amount of hair conditioner and warm water or strangely enough, smooth-peanut butter will help to comb it out; Afterwards, Shampoo as needed.

fabric – If Peak Putty gets on fabric or carpet try to remove as much as you can with a metal spoon. Using a silicone solvent can help to loosen and remove the stuck putty.
Following directions for use and returning Peak Putty to its original packaging when not in use is the best way to keep from damaging anything.

Disclaimer – Peak Putty is not responsible for damage, issues from staining, material adhesion, or chemical use. Users should test cleaning methods on a small, inconspicuous area first.
